Project 2 Exercise 2 - TikTok Video (20%)

For the next project, we were to record a Tiktok video, make it as interesting as possible and must have at least one scene taken on campus. The idea of the content is up to us.

Fig.  7 First TikTok Video Draft

This was my first TikTok Video. At first I thought that the whole content needs to be filmed on Campus, so I recorded a video describing what you can do on campus. Looking back, it honestly turned out to be very boring and nothing special whatsoever. I also asked Mr. Martin for feedback and he said that the concept and idea is totally up to me, but his feedback was that nothing special going on in the video, the content isn't capturing the audience's attention (TikTok User).

After figuring out plenty of ideas, Since we're on the ninth week (close to finals), I then decided to make a short trailer about the time that I spent with my friends on Pantai Kelanang. Firstly I recorded bunch of videos during my time visiting the beach, then I edited on Premiere Pro by cutting the parts that I wanted to use. I also add some sound effects and background music to make it less empty. At first I wanted to go with doing a voiceover explaining the situation, but then I realize that I've put background music and sound effects, if I do another voiceover, it'll be too disoriented. Instead, I add some subtitles.
